My path into grief work has been shaped by a lifelong relationship with death, having lost both my parents, former partner, family members, friends, pets, and the intimate caregiving experience of tending to my mother’s end-of-life. Grief has been my deepest torment and greatest teacher. It is the force that led me to psychospiritual work and holding space for others in times of loss and transition. In Vietnamese, we say “chia buồn” to offer condolences, which translates to “sharing grief,” because I share this with you. My heart is heavy with yours.

You don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out. Whether you're grieving a death, anticipating one, or carrying a loss that doesn't yet have a name, this space is built to meet you where you are. No timeline, no “right” way to grieve, and no pressure to explain yourself.

Sessions are held with the same care whether we meet virtually or in person: unhurried, private, and shaped around what you're actually carrying rather than a fixed structure. If it would help to know more about pricing, format, or what to expect before you reach out, below are answers to FAQs.

FAQs

What is a death doula?

A death doula, also known as an end-of-life doula or death midwife, is a non-medical support practitioner who offers holistic care to individuals navigating terminal illness or the dying process, as well as their loved ones. This care may include emotional, spiritual, and practical support, all intended to bring greater presence, dignity, and meaning to the final stage of life.

What services do you provide?

Grief Support

Whether you're moving through eco-anxiety and collective despair with the weight of the world, anticipatory grief, or mourning the loss of a loved one, an animal companion, your health, identity, relationship, or long-held dreams, grief is a natural and necessary response to love, loss, and major life transitions. It speaks to the depth of our connection, our care, and our humanity.

I offer grief support through a compassionate and contemplative approach, blending heart-opening dialogue with holistic, integrative practices to gently guide you through the many layers and cycles of the grieving process.

Death Meditation

Meditation on death and impermanence is one of the oldest Buddhist practices, valued across traditions for anchoring us to the present, softening fear of death, and deepening our connection to life. This 60-minute guided meditation, interweaving sound healing and grounding exercises, invites you to face your own impermanence, explore what feels unresolved, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Offered virtually or in person on a sliding scale of $150–$275.

Sound Healing for Grief & End-of-Life (Patients, Pets, Caregivers)

Sound has long been used across cultures as a pathway to healing, presence, and release. Sound baths offer a gentle, immersive experience using resonant instruments such as singing bowls, drums, and chimes to support anyone touched by the end-of-life journey: patients navigating illness, caregivers carrying the weight, those grieving a loss, and even beloved pets. Rather than requiring anything of you, this practice invites you to simply lie down, breathe, and let the sound vibrations move through and around you, easing tension, softening grief, and creating space for rest, comfort, and connection. Offered bedside, in-home, or virtually. This is a practice of presence meeting you exactly where you are.

End-of-Life Planning

It's never too early or too late to start planning for our final destination. End-of-life care deserves presence and preparation. This includes practical and logistical support, assisting with advance care directives, legacy planning, and decisions around deathcare, creating meaningful rituals, ceremonies, and practices to honor transitions, cultural traditions, and spiritual beliefs.

Organizing & Letting Go

Sometimes the hardest part isn't the clutter. It’s the stories attached to it. Every item holds a memory, a “maybe someday,” or a fear of what happens if it's gone. That's where I come in, to work alongside individuals and families to gently sort through belongings, room by room, without judgment and without rushing the process. My approach centers on compassion first. By listening, I understand the meaning behind the mess, and I help you rebuild a relationship with your space that feels safer rather than overwhelming. Whether you're supporting a loved one or working through it yourself, I’m here to help you create room to breathe. One thing at a time. One small win at a time.
